

EPA Refrigeration Certification (16 Hours)

This 16 hour class includes the new CFC 608 EPA Certification test that will be provided the last day of class. Students/employees will be assigned testing times and dates to be held onsite at the Northwest HVAC/R Association, 204 E. Nora Ave. Spokane, WA 99207. Test Schedules will be announced once the session begins and based on how many registrants there are and based on social distancing mandates. Association members $225.00 Non menbers $325.00. EPA Refrigeration Certification (Study at Home)

Self-paced study materials to take and pass the proctored Universal EPA exam. The course covers requirements for the Core section and Types I, II, III Refrigeration Certification.

Home Inspector A/C & H/P Training (8 hours)

Accredited for WA state home inspector CEU’s.
Provide licensed inspectors continuing education in the various applications of residential heating; provide code updates and applications. $135.00 and $10.00 discount for ASHI members.

System Design

Provides an elementary understanding of air and its properties as a background for consideration of heat loss and gain calculation and proper duct sizing procedures using Manuals D and J and/or manuals of equivalent procedures.


Cooling and Heat Pump Series

Covers refrigerant process, theory,piping, use of variety of refrigerants, extensive troubleshooting techniques refrigeration controls, and exposure to a variety of industry refrigeration systems.
