This course prepares students for the Oil Burner Installer and Service License exam proctored by local jurisdictions. Covers oil burner design, combustion chambers and efficiency. The codes for installation of tank piping and oil heating equipment are discussed in detail. Includes an introduction to troubleshooting and servicing. Familiarization with the oil burner and furnace parts and operations are included in the hands-on portion of the class.
